WPLJ’s popular morning drive show (6A – 10A), “Scott & Todd In The Morning” is seeking college interns. Students will work with radio legend Scott Shannon, his award-winning partner, Todd Pettengill, and the rest of the morning show team. This internship provides hands-on, practical experience is ideal for broadcast majors contemplating a career in programming, producing or as on-air talent. Interns must arrive at 4AM on weekdays ready to work. Hours are 4AM to 12PM, three days per week. Duties include coordinating commercial spots, keeping a program log of show elements, answering listener lines, taking contest winner information, general office work, recording air checks, running errands and otherwise assisting the show producers and on-air talent. Prove yourself with initial assignments and your role will grow.
Academic credit *must* be earned. Internships are available in all semesters.
